Job Overview:

We are hiring an Area Business Manager (ABM) for a leading pharmaceutical company specializing in Orthopedics & Rheumatology products. This role requires a dynamic sales professional who can drive business growth, manage key customer relationships, and lead a high-performing sales team in the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Growth:

• Achieve sales targets and expand market share for Orthopedic & Rheumatology products.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to maximize revenue.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.

Customer & Market Engagement:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, hospital administrators, and pharmacies.
• Conduct product presentations, training, and promotional activities for healthcare professionals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.

Team Leadership & Recruitment:

• Lead, train, and manage the sales team to achieve performance targets.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top-performing sales professionals to strengthen the team.
• Provide coaching, motivation, and performance feedback to drive team success.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical industry regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and market intelligence data.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, medical affairs, regulatory) to align business goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in Sales or Healthcare Management are a plus.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in Orthopedics or Rheumatology.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing a team.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Effective team management and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.

Preferred:

• Experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or the healthcare industry.
• Existing network with Orthopedic & Rheumatology specialists.
